Thanks so much. After seeing your quilt I now know what to do with some beautiful poppy fabric I have been saving cause I just didn't know what to do with it but now I do!

Awesome work! You are very talented!

I really love the last one. It doesn't look like the original turning twenty, but I know there are several turning twenty books. Would you mind telling me which one it is from? Thanks!

brandon 02-26-2010 08:41 PM

I really like what you have done. The colours and the way in which you have put them together are awesome. I really like the "bug" one!! Oh what the heck, I like them all LOL!!

Debbie1 02-26-2010 10:09 PM

skpkatydid 02-26-2010 11:03 PM

dannypanny 02-26-2010 11:08 PM

My goodness!!!! what a talented lady you are.... and you say you are a beginner????? wish my quilts looked like that when I started!!! hahaha Your piecing is spectacular and you sure know how to put colours together. keep it up. ciao

JanetM 02-26-2010 11:13 PM

If you are "still learning" I can only imagine the quilts you'll be doing in the future. All three of your quilts are wonderful.

You have a very good eye for color and your piecing looks perfect. I really like your pieced border on the butterfly/bug quilt.

Great work

Very nice! I love the first one. Such a happy quilt!

Elisabrat 02-27-2010 05:28 AM

You put me to shame, that is a lot of 'some' other quilts I am working on. I love them! The first one made me rethink the colors for my grand daughters quilt I love yours so much better than a traditional pink/purple thing which was not exciting me much. Beautiful work.

grammyp 02-27-2010 05:34 AM

Those are absolutely wonderful. Love the fur baby, too.

Sharon M 02-27-2010 05:37 AM

Thank you soooo much! I have some oriental fabrics that I think might work up well in this pattern. Don't know if I can do the same awesome work you did, but I can try

All of them are beautiful! If this is what you do as a beginner, I can't wait to see what you turn out as you progress.
