Thanks debcavan, this eagle collage took some time to stitch out, this pattern came from, www.bfc-creations.com this pattern comes in three diff. sizes. They have many different portraits of animals, oh and many different other projects totes etc. I have a photo of a leopard see if i still have pic i'll post. The size of the blocks for this eagle are done in the 5x7 hoop.

leopard from BFC i have some card board behind the picture. This is my first attempt at embroidering a portrait. I didn't quite line up the blocks, Next one i know better how to do to.

On my sweetpea hanger i noticed that some of my blocks stretched and when it came to lining the blocks together.. well i had to figure out how to fix those few places . I could have redone those few blocks, unfortunately i was low on my fabric. So this is what i did, those three humming birds and one dragonfly are not part of this pattern. So where my booboos are i covered with the birds. I want to add a ladybug on the lower left side, can u see where it didn't line up quite right? What you think of my idea of covering my mistakes? Thanks for looking.

I have really enjoyed making all my ornaments etc, and i'm still learning, (i don't cry anymore) i just take a deep breath and if the embroidery doesn't want to work for me i take a break and tackle it next time. I don't like to rush it, and i hate wasting too. I have more things to finish, but i can't stop trying out new pattern. I must finish my quilts and start enjoying them. Thanks everyone for looking.

Love your embroidery and I too had a 350E that I used like an industrial machine. Told them when I bought it I was going to put it to work and that I did! Where did you get your snow elves - they are adorable. I love to do FSL and don't think I've ever ran across that design. I can tell that you like different designs - so do I. I just love to make FSL ornaments of different things and give them at Christmas. Normally I just let people take their pick of the one they want.

Thank you callie, i joined a site called www.pixierule.com The lady who owns site is Teriann, i pay $5.00 for one month membership and she sends members freebies every month and as a member you get great discounts on her patterns, when i buy now i only pay $1.00 for patterns. She also gives most of her patterns in 3 sizes. She has a awesome site many different other things to do and see too. Oh you must check out her little sprites to.. and her other little fsl snowflakes, cute. oh yes i like doing diff. designs, i sure happy i got involved in embroidery stitching.

Hi Connie, sorry for not answering your post sooner , my back has been giving me troubles, arthritis, anyhow, i have two emb. machines. Memory Craft300E and 350E, i love them both, my first was 300E and i made that baby work hard till i got the hang of doing my embroideries. Now she is under the weather and need to take in for service and good cleaning. I still keep on plucking with my 350E when i get a chance. I'll post my latest pic of a Swanbonnet i purchased at daintystitches. I was hoping to have it done this last weekend, but life had to get in the way. Hope you like, and thank you for kind words.

Swan bonnet almost done.
