This one I made for my daughter. I finished it on January 3 of this year, it "only" took me 2 years and 1 month to make it!!! LOL!!! It's made of polar fleece, the top side just the black and white squares in checkerboard fashion, with contrasting yarn as decorative "quilting" stitched. The back is all black polar fleece, and I tied it. She absolutely loves it, as do her fiance and kids!!!

Here are 3 of the 6 completed blocks for my Applique Affair quilt (needle turned applique, my first qpplique attempt!!!)

Here are blocks 4 and 5. I haven't photographed block 6 yet. This one is going to take probably another year and a half to make!

For first time needle turn applique, it looks like you have mastered the technique. Good for you!

Watercolor heart wall hanging (another UFO!)

Here is the double Irish chain that I'm currently working on for my 5 year old granddaughter. She helped a little on Sunday! I'm using the gridded fusible, which I absolutely love!!! And this one will be my first attempt at quilt-as-you-go.

The first one I cross-stitched for my 3 year old granddaughter, and the last two are doll quilts that I made for my granddaughters, all for Christmas.

Okay, that's all for tonight!!!! It's midnight!!!! Gotta get some sleep now.
