While I have been quilting for awhile, the majority of my learning has been trial and error from a friend just telling me stuff to do over the phone initially or looking in awe at some of the stuff she had done and went home and tried it....I'd say a good portion of time has been spent building a stash, because I LOVE...I mean LOVE fabric and seemed to spend more time buying than doing anything for awhile. Below is some of my work.
The first "class" I ever took was to learn how to do this! finally completed 8/2010 [ATTACH=CONFIG]166921[/ATTACH] a close up [ATTACH=CONFIG]166922[/ATTACH] An Anniversary Quilt for my church, completed 12/2010 [ATTACH=CONFIG]166923[/ATTACH] Did the blocks for this log cabin about 4 yrs ago...just put it together about 2wks ago [ATTACH=CONFIG]166924[/ATTACH] Just finished this in a Mariner's Compass class this past week!!
