I was able to go to the quilt show on Saturday. I think this show is wonderful! The quilts were all superb. Thank you for posting your pictures and reminding me of the great quilts!

Thank you! I am so glad you chose and were able to attend...I was at Admissions taking the money so you probably seen me...we work hard to put on our show & every year try to improve..:)

OH, MY!! Such talent!! Looking at all of these beautiful things lets me know what a beginner I really am!! I have such a long way to go to be able to enter any kind of a judging!!

I attended the show, also. It was a drive of 285 miles and was so very worth it. GREAT SHOW!!!! The Desert Sage Guild is to be congratulated. My BFF and I had a good time.

THANK YOU!! I met you and your friend right? I am so glad you enjoyed the show and you & your friend had a good time. It was nice meeting you & your friend...I was so busy all 3 days..we set up on Friday, and the show was of course Sat & Sunday...we do it every 2 years...we could not do this every year...again, thank you...:)

You pointed out some of the ribbon winners ..... I still have a hard time with "judged" displays ... it is like comparing apples and oranges when they are each so different, yet each is excellent in its own way .....

I would not make a very good judge .... I'd hate to be limited in the numbers of ribbons I could give out :|

The voting is done by the show attendees...ballots and pencils are handed out...at the end of the show on Sat, ballots are counted...and ribbons are placed on Sunday before the show opens...:)
