Some recent finishes
4 Attachment(s)
I've recently been able to finish some of my UFO's. The Mystery Train Ride 2017 quilt - I love that pattern; the 2nd is a donation quilt and the first time I did the Warm Wishes pattern. The Deer Quilt is called the Stained Glass pattern and is a Christmas present for my grandson-in-law who is an avid deer hunter. And my version of the Bonnie Hunter 2017 mystery quilt which is just 3/4 size.

They are all beautiful. Congrats on all of those finished quilts I really love the last 2 quilts-especially the deer quilt. Would you share the name of the pattern you used for the deer quilt?
Oh, you've got some great quilts finished. Love that first one and love the one with black stained glass effect blocks.
I love your version of the mystery quilt. How did you get the purple to look round?
they all came out so wonderfully
you have been busy.........they all look great.
I love the red, the purple and the one without either!!!
You did fine work with all of them. The last is my favorite.
"Man Oh Man". These are wonderful. I like the first one the best, no the second one, no the third one, no the fourth one.
Heck I love them all. The stained glass one is really super, so maybe it's that one. I look at one then look at the others and they all are great. Did you have a pattern for the stained glass one? BrendaK |
Everyone prettier than the one before it. Just wonderful work. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you all for the kind comments. Brenda and Jordan - the stained glass pattern is fun to make - I made one with denim and used the pattern from here: http://lucysquilts.blogspot.com/2009...im-quilts.html
I hope that link opens for you. BonnieI, I borrowed the idea from one of the others doing this mystery to make the purple blocks circular. It was just a matter of changing two units in the sash strips. There were so many good tips and ideas on the En Provence thread. If you look at page 123, you will see that "NZQuilter" came up with the design. |
Wonderful quilts!

That was quite an accomplishment getting them all finished
All beautifully finished but I especially like the Deer Stained Glass quilt.

They are all beautiful.
Lovely group of quilts.
Your quilts are lovely!
All lovely quilts! There's a lot of hours in those quilts but worth every second!
What a busy lady! I'm struggling, and have been for about 2 weeks with En Provence. I made the terrible mistake of not buying the rulers Bonnie Hunter suggested. I thought it was just a 60 degree triangle.....NOOOOOO It is about a 57 degree and I had to recut 100 pieces and did not get them right. Cascading into oblivion of mistakes that I may not be able to correct.
Do the words starting over come to mind. Your quilts are wonderful, so varied and so pretty. I'd love to have you as a neighbor. |
All of them are lovely, but tell your grandson-in-law there's someone in Maryland who covets that deer quilt!
What a great bunch of quilts and each one is special in it's own way, but the stained glass one just "wows" me. Must look for that pattern.
