I just finished this for my 15yo son.
He picked the shirts he liked from Goodwill & this is what we came up with. It will fit his twin bed nicely.:) |

It came out very nice.. I did a queen size rag quilt from flannel shirts I got at Goodwill.. I loved the quality choices there were.. The store that I went to sells the clothes by the pound... and I started collecting in the summer so there were plenty of long sleeve shirts to be had..

Wonderful! Now that's the way our foremothers did it - use it up! So saved a lot of cash on fabrics, made the boy what he likes, and gave a donation to a worthy cause. That's a big win all around!
