sort of scrappy quilt for little girl
 

Just finished this for a toddler girl and her baby bed. Enjoyed making this one. Used all fabrics and pieces from my stash. Love when I can do that! The back has some of the leftovers from the quilt blocks. I quilted it free-motion on my HQ 16. Another one that is hard to part with, but the new owner's grandmother will come for it this afternoon! I'll get over it, and start a new one. :)

luvTooQuilt ......the pattern is in McCall's Quick Quilts...Dec/Jan 2014 issue....called "Soft & Rosey" on p. 52. I knew I had to make it for someone the moment I saw the quilt!! I didn't use the same border, as I didn't have a big floral print for the border that matched the rest. And, I was determined not to buy anything IF POSSIBLE this year. So, I just make a checkerboard pattern from the quilt block scraps, etc. I think I like mine better. :) Glad you like it. It was fun to make...you just have to be careful of the layout with the pinwheels.
