Love that quilt. Went to their site and they had three lovely patterns for free download. I downloaded Enchanted Journey. I have questions about cross hatching. How do you start and stop each line? Do you take really small stitches, backstitch, or tie it on the back or what? You did a great job and would appreciate any info you can give me about this because I have been wanting to try it but wasn't sure how to do it. Thanks in advance.

kitsykeel,

on this quilt I did a couple of tiny stitches back and forth. I should have tied and noted and then buried the thread to make it judge worthy, but I didn't.

Fantastic work. I am trying to teach my BFF husband to quilt. He had a brain stem stroke 1 1/2 years ago and the hand stitching has already made a difference in the use of his right hand.

What a great job. I love the sashing pattern that looks like empty wooden (old) spools stacked on each other. That is wonderful and the quilting is great.
