Thanks for all the lovely compliments! Yes, this is appliqued by machine. And yes, I bought this from http:southwestdecoratives.com. I'm currently working on the mirror borders and then I will get the other borders that frame the quilt. Also, I'm doing trapunto and it will be a challenge to complete this as it is getting very heavy to feed through the machine; my arms are getting a work out.

When you have a few minutes - would you mind showing us a couple of closeups of a couple of the blocks showing your machine applique please? Did you do raw edge or turned? I know the pattern says to use your favorite method... but it's always good to actually 'see' the options :) Thanks! |
