Spent today just playing around

I have been saving up orphan and extra blocks I have had left from other projects (I hate to throw anything away.) Today I took them and played around and put as many of them together as I could - I am going to use it as a backing for my next quilt. It was really fun seeing what I could come up with.

Bright, pretty and really interesting!
love the layout, great quilt!!
As a backing, are you nuts ontheriver?:D This is fabulous and would be so cheerful hanging on the right wall. I have the right wall for it!!

It's beautiful, bright and fun! Why hide it on the back? Make it the front and show it off. You have a really great quilt here.
Really pretty! My orphan's live in a box because they do not play well with others.:D
very nice and great that you could use them
This is a cheery quilt. I think it should be the front of a quilt. I really like the colors.
I agree with the others--this one's so cheery, bright, fun, pretty that it should be the front, not the back, of a quilt!
I forgot to ask where you got your sunbonet for the center square?
I agree with the others who say your blocks are way too pretty to use as a backing. If it were mine, I'd either hang it if I had the space or use it for a quilt top. You have some wonderful quilt blocks!
This should be a front and not be just a back. I especially like that purple butterfly.

Beautiful on any side you put it. BrendaK

Backing!! It would make some lucky girl a wonderful quilt.First top ready for next Christmas.
Too pretty for a backing. It is bright and scrappy and should be seen as a top.
Beautiful! Put a plain backing on that and quilt it. What are you thinking? That's way too pretty to be the back of something. I think it turned out great!
That is so different and appealing .....It deserves to be on the front in all its glory!!!!!!
Yes, are you nuts...what a beautiful quilt TOP
Love it--especially all the bright colors!
turned out great!
This is too creative to use as a back. Love the colors.
its beautiful for a quilt top.
I love it as a quilt in its own right. Don't hide it on the back. Very cheerful.
Cute Sampler Quilt!! I love the Sunbonnet Block!
You have done a great job with creating a beautiful, bright quilt. Definitely need to use this for the front.
I think it makes a good top like a sampler. All cheery and bright. Would be a cute quilt for a little girl or baby girl. Absolutely adorable!
Another vote for the front of a quilt. This is a wonderful scrap quilt.
Lovely! So bright and cheerful. You did a wonderful job putting your blocks together.
Your orphan blocks play very well together! A beautiful quilt! Very well done!
Love it! So fun and sunbonnet Sue is one of my favorites!
Beautiful layout. Love all the blocks!
I join the chorus....DON'T put it on the back....make it the front of a quilt! It's so beautiful, even better than a sampler quilt and so interesting to look at! How big is it? Would make a great wall hanging too!!
I would love to have this layout done as a quilt. Why put it on the back?
