What a lovely color combination! I can't imagine all that tedious work. PP is always so tedious (to me), but the results are always fantastic, and yours is no exception!
|
Awesome!!!

I love doing pp |
Thank you. I just ordered the pattern and enough paper to make a king size. I primarily quilt with batiks, so I can't wait to see the outcome. Your quilt is beautiful. Keep up with the PP

It may have been a pain picking out the little paper pieces, but I think it was worth it, as it's a gorgeous quilt. I love it.

Nice spinning wheels quilt.
|
A lovely result.
I know what you mean about picking out those teeny tiny bits of paper. I was wondering if they were wet would it make it any easier? Thoughts on this anyone.........please |
Very pretty!
|
Beautiful quilt!
|
I think picking out all of those tiny corner pieces wouldn't be such an issue if you used a fabric that wasn't white, but since I did, you could really see them and the stitching lines left in them.

Thanks for all of the compliments. For those of you who were asking, the real name for the quilt is Spinwheels I guess. You can get the pattern from a shop called Quilting on the Square in Holton, Kansas. I think fall colors would look really pretty in it, too.
Here is their web site: http://www.quiltingonthesquare.com and, here is the link to order the pattern: http://webstore.quiltropolis.net/sto...3&Item_ID=2227 |

|
What a great job you did on this quilt.
|
Beautiful work. I don't do paper piecing partly because of the paper. But, I just had a thought. Has anyone done their paper piecing on the water soluble stabilizer? You could still trace your lines on it and after you were done, you could wet it.....if that works, I might be tempted to try it again. Please let me know.

That's gorgeous! Love the colors too
