Aahh, thank you for the pictures - I couldn't see how you did it, because you said you used a 90 degree ruler! I should have reasoned that it was a typo! (But it has been hot here, so my brain is a bit wooly)

I know that was what I said. Wasn't thinking too good huh?

Your spiral bargello is GORGEOUS! I hope we can buy the pattern and ruler somewhere.

Don't know where to buy the ruler but check on line

I found one here for only $12. I paid almost $30 for mine.

OMG I LOVE IT! Did she design this herself or from a pattern?

conblond2005 07-01-2009 02:48 PM

We took a class together and got the pattern from the instructor. She picked her own colors. It is beautiful. Mine is goofy.

Beautiful bargello!! And I gotta tell ya, those are some more than awesome dragons too!

conblond2005 07-01-2009 03:48 PM

They are pretty cool. She hasn't finished that quilt. It's for her daughter and she is too busy with customer quilts to get back to it. She was gonna start the twisted log cabin too. I can't wait to see that one. I have a pattern for it in a book. She is leaving tomorrow for South Dakota. She has a quilt for a raffle at a fire department up there she did as a donation. Busy lady!!

Wow, that is soooomething! I've never seen one of these, it's beautiful.

Thanks Eddie,

Wish I could take the credit for it but it was made by a friend of mine. Linda Vopat. We took the class together but I used fall colors. Linda is great. She is the one that quilts all of mine.
