She is a great long arm quilter too. The cancer quilt we did has butterflies but they look like angels. She is at http://www.flyingheartquilts.com/

I made one with fall colors and it's not near as great and mine is at the quilters. The colors at the bottom of mine are so dark that I put a yellow googly eyed cat looking up at it. I put some sequins in his button eyes.

You know we took this class together. It is really an easy quilt to make. You do need a 90 degree ruler though and it cost's between $25 and $30. Kind of expensive but that's what makes this quilt and of course the colors you use are good too.

So is my friend. The funny thing is that spiral is so easy to make.. The worst part for me is turning under the 1/4 " on the edge so you can sew it to the back ground.

Have you not got a 1/4" foot. I had trouble too till I started using this little gadget and now its a breeze.
