Thanks for Sharing I've made 2 Bargello wall hangings so this makes complete sense. Stockings may also come of this, will need to be for next year as there is NO room in the race to finish Christmas list. I may wait until after I return from Thailand & China silks & batiks to add some spice! 4 of us leading a mission trip from our school. 20 high school students woohoo it's going to be awesome!

I used the 10 degree wedge ruler and a free pattern that I found here: http://www.sulky.com/project/treeskirt/ I modified it some - I'm not really a ruffle kind of girl, so I added a row instead. I also increased the number of colors but at the same time decreased them into color-coordinated groups so the spiral would be more pronounced. I saw a picture of one made like mine on the web and figured out my modifications from that.

Anyway - here it is. Thanks for looking!

I made one also. I started putting on the ruffel and I only used half of it. It was so long and would of made it way to puffy.

I like it Boop56! The blue is really nice. It's amazing that they came from the same pattern but look so different.

Wow send your pics to HGTV. Very hip Christmas tree and skirt. I love seeing so many different approaches that start from the same place!
