I really like that. I am picturing it with different color combinations. Your choice of colors is great. I am thinking blacks browns and tans would look good too

I agree! While I was working on it I also thought how great it would be as a 2 color quilt.

It is a pattern that I designed called "Split Triangle Rows".

jmoore 09-08-2016 03:05 AM

very colorful...it looks like a great pattern to use up some scraps. Great job.

quilterpurpledog 09-08-2016 03:23 AM

I really like your scrappy look for this quilt.
But I think it would be lovely in lots of color combinations. The pattern is really nice and refreshing.

Melanie,

What a beautiful and cheery quilt! There are so many color combinations that could be made with your design. Thanks for the tutorial on your website. That was terrific of you to share it with others.

Fabric Galore 09-08-2016 03:06 PM

I love your colors and the pattern is different. You did a great job.

JuanitaBean 09-08-2016 09:21 PM

Love it, such a happy quilt. You did a great job with your fabrics and design.

waltonalice 09-09-2016 02:55 AM

Well. I thought that I understood the pattern: when I looked at it, I saw a =rectangles similar;ar to the ones in Bonnie Hunter's Allietare edge pieces. I was dumbfounded when I followed WMUTeach's link to your tutorial. Not only is the quilt beautiful and colorful, the construction method is fascinatingly fun to contemplate.

copycat 09-09-2016 03:27 AM

Clean and crisp look to the fabric color choices. Nice Job.

ka9sdn 09-09-2016 04:00 AM

how do we get to the "to be continued" ? I'm not a blogger or facebooker, it confuses me but I would love to see the ending.
