Just finished last night. This was pieced by machine, but quilted by hand. I wanted to make a quilt with only HSTs and came up with this arrangement. There are over 40 hours of hand quilting alone. I'm starting to think I'm a little crazy to invest so much time, but I guess it keeps me out of trouble.

Yellow is my favorite color and I cannot believe I havent made a quilt of that color yet. I love your blue and yellow quilt. So Pretty.

Fabulous work. You must be so proud. Someone in my quilt class made a blue and yellow log cabin and it looks fab. Must get some for my next project.

As far as the time invested, if it is something that makes you happy, it is never a waste of time. The wonderful thing about quilting as a hobby is that, when you are done, you have a beautiful, useful item to enjoy for years to come, either by you or someone else. And just look how happy you have made us by posting a pic of your wonderful quilt! |

This is beautiful, I've been trying to think of a good way to put the yellow/blue/white together for my sister as a surprise. Your design is perfect. Only 40 hours of hand quilting you are fast. It takes me a lot longer than that.
