What is Quilt Assistant?
I know it is a software program but how does it work? (disclaimer: I'm *not* associated with Quilt Assistant in any way, just think it's a super useful tool for paper-piecing! I'm not sure of the quilting board's link rules, so I haven't linked here to the program's website or tutorial on how to use it.) |

Thank you for posting. Your quilting is wonderful and really makes your tulips pop!
I am a fan of paper piecing and did not know about the software. Thanks. I often have photos or draw something I would like to paper piece. Can't wait to see what you quilt next.:) PS: it is ok to post a direct link as long as you are not affiliated with it, as you stated. |
That is REALLY nice! Love the way you've quilted it! and your colors!

Quilt Assistant is an open source (i.e. free) program that helps you convert your own drawings into paper-piecing templates or helps you make paper-pieced designs from photos or other graphics. If you search for it in your search engine you can find the program and the guy who made it also has done some nice tutorials describing how to use it.

I googled it and now have the webite bookmarked. Tomorrow, I will check it out more thoroughly. Thanks again. |
