Square in a Square....
1 Attachment(s)
Watched Jenny on MQ tutorial and made this from scraps I had in a big bowl....just pulled each out without looking
What it was and sewed them together instead of using a precut set...it's mine to use as a large lap quilt!! Makes me happy and snuggling loving! |
nicely done
A great quilt! Amazing what can be done with scraps.
Great quilt!

{{{{{{{{applause}}}}}}}} Great way to use up the scraps. ;) |
Very pretty scrappy quilt! I really like the white strips around all the colors.
It's wonderful. It doesn't look like you did the "blind method"(my choice of words for pulling out a bag,not selecting the scrap piece)It came together so well like you chose the fabric to blend so great.I know you're going to love having this one for yourself.I would!
Love it. Looks like there was method to your madness. I guess I will have to try the bag method. BrendaK

Looks like a great snuggler - I would keep it, too!
The white really makes each block pop.
Wonderful scrappy quilt!
Love the way the random colors turned out.
That's a great pattern and I love your scrappy quilt. Nicely done.
A beautiful scrappy quilt
A very attractive "grab and sew" scrappy.
Very nice! Great use of your scraps, and fun pattern too~
Hard to think it wasn't all planned out. Beautifully done
Thank you everyone for the kind remarks...
If we didn't tell people our scrap quilts were made from scraps no one would know. :-) It looks planned. Nicely done!
This is a great quilt.
Beautiful, cozy scrappy!
This is on my to do list and your quilt is bumping mine up a ways on that list. This is a very pretty quilt.
wonderful lap size quilt... very fun fabrics and a great way to reduce your scraps. I'll have to look for Jenny's tute.
I'll have to look for the tutitorial. I love your scraps. That came out very nice. I'm afraid if I pulled just from my scraps I would wind up with teddy bears, race cars, pirates and Dr Seuss characters. I have made alot of quilts for my grandsons.
Fun quilt. I know you will enjoy it as you snuggle under it. It is amazing to me that randomness can by unified by the white boundaries. I need courage to be random. I make hard work of it and the scraps just keep stacking up.
Very pretty. Thanks for sharing
Great quilt. I love it.
What a great quilt! You made some room for more scraps ;) and have a cozy quilt to wrap up in.
Very pretty !!
Love it...have to look that MSQC pattern up........
So pretty! I don't know I will be able to make something by just using whatever piece I pull out. I'm going to try it sometime, but I can see myself pawing through the pieces to find "just the right one."
Very pretty.
Absolutely love this quilt!
It looks great. I think you have a nicer scrap basket than I do, as your quilt is beautiful.
