Here is my third "round" quilt, but this one has squared corners. I don't think I am entirely happy with how the corners came out, but overall I think it came out fine. It was for the raffle at our car club's car show yesterday.

It's really beautiful...love how the fabrics work. Someone's going to treasure this one.

Well, I think it is gorgeous and just wish I had been there to buy raffle tickets or whatever.
Did you design it yourself? |

I really love the textured look of the fabrics. So much movement in the quilt- in a good way. This is fabulous.

Also, yes, I did design this quilt myself. I bought the large 10 Degree wedge ruler and the extension to do squared corners. Then I started sewing the strip sets. One thing I found out is that there is a TON of fabric waste with this pattern. YUCK!! But I saved all the scraps, and maybe can do something with them. |
jljack......most gorgeous quilt ever! Never seen this pattern before, Thanks for the info on car ...the t-bird you have is kinda rare. Enjoy
|

Love the cornered finish - so bright and cheerful and looks like a full skirt laid out on the floor - rather Mexican hat looking!!!
