This quilt started life in a class in October last year. I thought it was a One Block Wonder and posted pics under this name during the 2 classes. It was going really well till I started putting the blocks together into rows and then I ran into a snag. I didn't read the instructions closely enough. It said to press the seams OPEN and I pressed to the side, but only in some of the blocks. When I started sewing the blocks together the star points didn't match the way they should have. I was so disappointed. Stuffed it in a tote and put it on the shelf. Last week I pulled it out and undid all the seams that were wrong, repressed everything and started fixing the seams. I finished it Wednesday evening. Then found out I'd left my camera at the LQS. So took it to town this morning with me, hung it and got these pictures.

I agree, the black points just set the entire quilt. Beautiful work Isn't it amazing how just putting such projects aside for awhile and re-thinking the project later will result in such beautiful work. Aren't you so pleased with the way it turned out?
