The stack and whack and the OBW's are marvels to the eyes. As complicated as they look, looks can be deceiving. I like your blocks a lot.

Now this is so beautiful. I love the way you centered each star pattern, the sashing and borders accentuate their delicate designs. Just beautiful....btw (HINT HINT) today is my b'day and this is a darling gift ! ;)

I second that. We should ask anyone making a OBW and posting pics to please add one of original fabric. It is amazing how it change the outlook of it all.

Very pretty!

sjscribe 03-16-2011 08:08 PM

Very, very pretty. Did you encounter any issues with the size of the pieces after each cut?

Pretty! I like the way you showcased each pinwheel block with its own square. very nice, like the colors too.

jillaine 03-17-2011 10:54 AM

any possibility you have or could post a photo of the fabric before you cut it? (i.e., a large enough piece of the fabric so we can see what it looked like before whacking?) Thanks!

GABBYABBY 03-18-2011 05:45 AM

You have done a wonderful job on this quilt.

MrsGuava 03-18-2011 05:53 AM

the book is "Magic Stack n whack" by Bethany Reynolds. It was very very easy, except for cutting the diamonds out of the 3" strips.

MrsGuava 03-18-2011 05:54 AM

cookie this is a 12 1/2 inch repeat. they said don't get one with a plain background as some of the blocks would look bland.

Damsel in DisDress 03-18-2011 05:54 AM

Very nice!
