I love your blocks, I have never done one of those stack and wack either. I am not a brown person but your fabrics look so rich I do really love yours. Please post a picture when you have it put together.

Nice to see what you did. Very nice. I thought there was always 8 pieces but your pics look like only 4. in the center. If this is true, I wish I had the class you took, I would "get around" to doing one. I feel so pressured with a GInormous stash that I go for bigger blocks for a quilt, or less cutting.

Thank You so much to everyone for all the kind comments. Tomorrow I hope to put on some of the boarders, there are 4 boarders on this quilt. I will post more pics when I get the top complete. Thanks again Ladies. Being a 'new' quilter, your words of encouragement mean so much to me!

Browns are my least favorite of all.....but OH MY GOSH THIS IS GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! My favorite is the pic marked "closer shot of one of the blocks" where there is almost a circle with some kind of lily (?). That block is magical in its feel!
