Stack & Whack Fabric
3 Attachment(s)
I posted this Stack & Whack back in January, and several people wanted to see the original fabric. I finally ran across a piece of it, and thought I would show. Sorry, no selvage left to show the name and manufacturer! :(

Beautiful. I still amazes me what you can do with fabrics and patterns.
|
WOW - what a difference a little stacking and wacking can do to a piece of material?????
|
Beautiful fabric and put together with the white is so striking.

You picked a wonderful fabric for this!!!

Okay, first I have to admit I'm still getting used to this stack & wack thing; and honestly, usually I love the starting fabric and have not been sold on the finished look. YOUR'S IS EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE===LOVE YOUR QUILT! Please don't be offended; I would never have bought that fabric. But, now that I see what that technique did for it, I am very impressed. Thank you for sharing!

Wild fabric, beautiful quilt. I love how you alternated the blocks with a snowball as it makes a beautiful setting for the stack and wack blocks. Lovely job.
|
Wow! It's as if that fabric were made with Stack and Whack in mind. Beautiful setting for your blocks too.

What a perfect choice of fabric! I was always fascinated by kaleidoscopes as a child and the block in the lower right hand corner is 'spot on' for one of those beautiful scenes depicted while turning the scope. You did a wonderful job creating this quilt.
