Stack and Whack graduation gift

3 Attachment(s)
I made this for a super guy for graduation. I quilted this on my new HQ Sweet Sixteen. Bought the fabric at Walmart. I also gave him money in a card. Don't figure a high school boy would get too excited about a quilt but he acted as though he really liked it.

I am working on one now with similar colors and I want to put it together with black sashing. May I ask how bit the blocks were? Also, what size was the finished quilt? I would appreciate your help. I have 30 blocks but only finishing 8"
and I will have to be creative I think to get a queen-sized quilt.

You certainly put a lot of work into it. I like the black with brights for a male. I'm sure he'll treasure more than you know. Peggy

I think quilts make great high school graduation gifts. They will come in handy for snuggling on their extra long twin beds when they are up all night cramming for semester exams next winter!!
