Actually I did buy one of those mirrors to teach myself Kalidescope (bought the book)...But then signed up for class easier to have someone teach me then try myself.
Anyway, she didn't have us use it...Just had us block out our pattern and divide it in our heads and pretty much guess. But you gave me a good idea of carrying it with me because after class I went right to the fabrics to scope out my next one...I found a great fabric with all diff colored peppers I thought would be great. I'm buying it next wk, I'll take the mirror. Another fabric was of all diff shape and color pasta...Can't wait

Can you tell me where I can find a good Stack and Whack tutorial? I just went to classes on my first OBW. This looks similar in technique and I would like to try it.

no help there. I actually bought a book call Stack and Whack but decided taking the class and seeing it done was easier for me. Maybe one of the other quilters can direct you

Don't you just love Stack & Whack? I have finished 6 of them in the past 2 months. I did the 60 degree triangle and they are so much FUN! ! I also love yours.

beautiful they look like stained glass and uwill laugh when i tell you this i kept noticing the background thinking what a nice fabric to go with that i wonder where they found it by the time i got to the last pic i realized oh its not fabric it is the rug silly me to bad you cant find a fabric like that it would look amazing lol!
