Just remember to align exactly. You can make a template you can see through to help and then sink a pin straight down through all the layers. Then pin horizontally. They should not shift on you then. When you sew them together, pin, pin, pin.

Both of your SAW's are gorgeous. That is one of my favorite patterns. It's such fun "discovering" each new block. To get the most out of my material, I did not cut my fabric in half lengthwise, so I am having to match across the entire width. It is MUCH easier to handle stacking 21" of fabric instead of 42". I re-align my "match points" and re-trim before each "cut" as there is some shifting.

It's stunning. Great motif placement in each one.

I love that you put them on black fabric because it really makes each one stand out. I think it's a beautiful quilt and you did a wonderful job.:thumbup:
