Both of your SAW's are gorgeous. That is one of my favorite patterns. It's such fun "discovering" each new block. To get the most out of my material, I did not cut my fabric in half lengthwise, so I am having to match across the entire width. It is MUCH easier to handle stacking 21" of fabric instead of 42". I re-align my "match points" and re-trim before each "cut" as there is some shifting.

Thank you that is a great idea. Ihave another one to make and I think the realigning after the first cuts will help. I have made others but it's frustrating when some of them are off at the center. It doesn't take much. Thanks for the tips.

I've been trying to find a fabric to make one similar to yours. Any suggestions on what to look for?? Should it be a huge pattern repeat, busy busy busy or just exactly what am I supposed to be looking for?
