Wowwwwww, absolutely stunning indeed! I have question if ya don't mind. The small black trim strips around each colored piece, is that sewn after the colored pieces are sewn together or is each colored piece of fabric sewn to the black strip individually? This quilt definitely shines like stained glass. Well done!

The thin black strips are sew individually as you piece the block following the piping pattern.
