This is my first attempt at doing a 'stained glass' block. The pattern is from QuiltedTreasures. I got it from the the quilt show in Philly in Sept.

That's pretty! I love the look of the stained glass. Did you use that fusible bias? I've seen it but never attempted one.

I bought one of the Quilted Treasures kits too, but I haven't tackled it yet. Was it hard? I'm kinda thinking I need a light box to trace the pattern.

Yours is gorgeous!

No, I used the lead line from QT and did the elmer's glue stick to hold it down while I stitched it.

Lovely, did the marbled fabrics come with the kit? If not how hard were they to find? They really make the design. Great work.

I just love it. My first attempt at quilting was this method and I found fabric like yours at a local quilt show. They even offered a DVD on how to dye the fabric yourself.

Great job.

paintedquilt 02-11-2010 08:22 AM

Gorgeous

I haven't decided yet. My hand quilting is very poor compared to what I have seen on the board. I think that I am going to do free motion or maybe echo (?) and then make into a wall hanging for a seasonal theme in my hallway.
