Thanks for all the wonderful praise! I'm making a grab ball from the scraps to go with the quilt. It was a UFO only because it didn't have a recipient.

Very nice quilt, love the colors. How do you make the spinners? Thanks for sharing. Sheila

Thankfully, I was able to find the link. The spinners are paper pieced.

Oh wow! It is adorable..! I love stars. I'm in processing of making star blocks for my 1st DGS when he graduates in 2 yrs then the next yr his bro. Boys are hard to do anything (just about) for so I went with star. I have 5 DGD so girls are no problem.

This doesn't seem to be the same star. I love your spinners -- six points instead of five. BTW -- your little quilt is beautiful. I can see where either boy or girl would love those bright colors.

My apologies. You are right about the star. I used a different star pattern. It's by Ula Lenz called Triple 6ray Star. I can't find a link, but I did send an email to Ula Lenz asking if it was still available. On the pattern, each point of the spinner actually called for three different fabrics, but I just used the same fabric for all pieces.

I did find this one

which is very similar and could be squared off instead of hexagonal.
