This is a recently finished UFO. I think it was just waiting for a baby boy, and my DD's best friend is providing the baby boy!

That's a perfect baby boy quilt!

Thanks for all the wonderful praise! I'm making a grab ball from the scraps to go with the quilt. It was a UFO only because it didn't have a recipient.

I love the colors and the pattern? So creative!

Oh wow! It is adorable..! I love stars. I'm in processing of making star blocks for my 1st DGS when he graduates in 2 yrs then the next yr his bro. Boys are hard to do anything (just about) for so I went with star. I have 5 DGD so girls are no problem.

Thankfully, I was able to find the link. The spinners are paper pieced. http://patchesofheaven.com.au/QuiltingPatterns.HTM |

This doesn't seem to be the same star. I love your spinners -- six points instead of five. BTW -- your little quilt is beautiful. I can see where either boy or girl would love those bright colors.
I did find this one http://quilterscache.com/H/HexedStarsBlock.html which is very similar and could be squared off instead of hexagonal. |
Very pretty...
|
