Star of David quilt... FINISHED!!!

1 Attachment(s)
I finally finished this Star of David wall hanging. This was my first time paper piecing and also dealing with the dreaded y-seams! Boy, did I learn a lot from this project.

DebraK 04-11-2013 08:07 AM

Beautiful, and did you enjoy the paper piecing? You can see how necessary paper piecing can be in some instances, aye?

The pattern was free, here is the link: http://www.quiltersnewsletter.com/co...achelsStar.pdf

This is really not difficult. Just a few Y-seams and a lot of paper piecing, but the quilt actually went together quite easily. I would recommend the pattern wholeheartedly!

I absolutely loved the paper piecing. It wasn't nearly as complicated as I thought it would be, and I would soooo glad that every completed section fit together perfectly. I am now a convert, and a paper piecing addict!
