Lilrain 03-12-2017 12:17 PM

lynnie 03-12-2017 12:27 PM

wow, amazing spectacular work! I'm just straight lines and wiggly lines, maybe a star or loop. Your work is amazing.

newjeepgreen 03-12-2017 12:28 PM

Havent been on board for ages and then to come back and see this beautiful quilting. Was it done on a domestic machine and was it with a special ruler or anything. I have a walking foot on my machine which I use all the time.

Pagzz 03-12-2017 12:49 PM

nativetexan 03-12-2017 01:04 PM

very nice job!!!

azwendyg 03-12-2017 03:37 PM

This was done with just a walking foot on a domestic machine. I did quite a bit of marking to lay out the design before I started stitching.

Yes, on designs like this, I mark most of it before I start stitching.

What a nice design. I love using my walking foot. Hardly ever use anything else, so now maybe will try some quilting with it too!

I use my walking foot a lot for quilting very rarely using a straight line. Thanks for some more great ideas. Beautiful work.

WOW!!! That's amazing. Wish I could take one of your classes.

JuneBillie 03-13-2017 12:13 PM

What do you use for your marking?

azwendyg 03-13-2017 12:22 PM

What I use for marking depends on the fabric I'm marking on. On this one I used a Crayola Ultra Washable Marker (from the kid's school supplies). I ALWAYS test before marking on my work to make sure it washes out completely.

My walking foot is soooooo clumsy.. or is it me that's clumsy. I think I will get a couple of pieces of fabric and see if I can get over my clumsiness. Clearly, it can be done beautifully as you have proven. Practice...practice....practice....

twinkie 03-13-2017 05:41 PM

Very pretty
