Sharon There are two alternating 8" blocks, identical except for the orientation of some of the patches. The small squares are 1" finished. I showed big pictures (from EQ6) of the two blocks in this post: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/15/23920.page I think if you look at the blocks you will understand that the "larger squares" are formed by the interplay of the two 8" blocks. It's really interesting how two fairly simple blocks come together and form secondary designs. Thank you, everyone, for the kind words. They're really appreciated. |
