For my birthday, I used my $ to buy some of the Farmer's Market line. I've seen it and wanted and wanted and finally bought.

I first made the stack and slash 9 patches. I LOVE how they came out. I laid them out so you can see how each fabric moves through the blocks. Ultimately they won't be arranged like this, it's just so y'all can see how each block is the same and different.

This isn't the website I used for mine, but it's the same method, in case you want to make one. Super easy, done in an afternoon - http://www.bighornquilts.com/inspiration/strip/sns.html

Then, I made the 5 point star. I spent a lot of time trying to explain it to someone on here that I decided to make one :). There are 11 fabrics and 11 pieces and each star has 11 different fabrics. The trick is to cut all 11 pieces. Then in each pile, move 1 fabric to the bottom, then the next 2 to the bottom, keeping them in order, so that the final pile has 1 of each fabric. As long as they're in order, if you have 11 different fabrics on top, you'll have 11 different fabrics in each star.

I think this block was borderline too busy, but I like it and am happy with how it came out.

Ultimately, all 20 blocks are going into 1 quilt. I'm giving them to my boyfriend to lay out since he's really good at quilt layouts (and I would go nuts since there is a weird number of each block)

I'm taking notes as I have been hoarding a bunch of fabric identical to yours.

The blocks are just beautiful and this line of fabric is exquisite (can you tell I like to "eat").

Thanks for the ideas......
