Thank you, yes they are preprinted and I was lucky enough to get 4 of them at JoAnns for $9.99 each with 25% off.

sewbusy 10-09-2009 03:43 PM

Thank you everyone for your kind words of encouragement. I hope to finish my sewing of aprons next week. I have a deadline because my two sisters are coming in November for 3 week and I need time to clean up this sewing mess before they get here.

Hi

Love them all. I have been looking for a pattern for an Adult bib, where did you get yours? Right now I just pin a kitichen towel around my Aunts neck, a bib would be wonderful.

Also the tote, too cute!

nursie76 10-09-2009 08:07 PM

ladybugquilter 10-10-2009 02:23 AM

siss 10-10-2009 04:05 AM

mccalls or simplicity have patterns for adult bibs. can't remember which one.
some of them are seasonal related. you can get them at wal-mart.
there are several patterns in one package.
hope this helps

So glad you like my aprons, but I can not help you out with a pattern because I didn't have one. I just cut it out from the fabric and got it a little big at first so I cut it down a bit. I hope it fits right, I linned it with 2 piecrs of flannel.

RedGarnet222 10-10-2009 06:51 AM

Wow...I love the baby prayer quilt. Was that a panel? May I ask where it came from? I would love to do one for my g-niece.....What a great job you have done. I am also making aprons for christmas...starting a new tradition in my family. I hope mine come out as nice as yours...

Thank you Minnie, I am sure your aprons will be just great and everyone will love all the effort you put into making them a special gift. The prayer quilt is not a panel, it was intended to be babys first cloth book. I cut the pages apart and sewed a strip around each page. I have made several quilts in this manner it is very quick and easy.

WoW Sewbusy......you have really lived up to your name...very nice work. Gotta love those deals from Joanns. Thankfully [or not] my closest Joanns is a 80 mile rd. trip. Do you sell your projects or are they all for gifts?

sewbusy 10-18-2009 06:14 AM

Thanks everyone, I try to keep busy. I am trying to reduce my stash by using it up. Some of the items I sell, but mostly I give them away. I especially like the look on a childs face when they see the quilt and than realize it is theirs.

sewjoyce 10-18-2009 06:49 AM

Wow girl -- you've been extremely busy!!! I love the kitty bag -- do you remember where you go that fabric??? :D

Yes sewjoyce I do remember where I got the kitty fabric and it was Joanns. It is a Joanns design and hard to find. I also have puppy fabric that is much the same, just haven't had time to do anything with it.

sewjoyce 10-18-2009 05:20 PM

Thanks sewbusy! I'll look at their online site. :D

sewjoyce 10-18-2009 05:24 PM

And, of course, they don't have it any longer. Oh, well -- it's not like I don't have any other kitty fabric

Thomas the train and friends is all ready for binding. I machine quilted this today. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. It is for my step-daughters, step-grandson. He is two and a real cutie, and loves Thomas. He is in a big boy bed now and needed a new quilt. It will be his christmas present.
