I'm getting close to finishing one up too. It is so hard to do the last few step to complete it. Especially when it is a big one like this. But it will be so worth it when it is done. Yours is lovely, original, and well designed. It is a quilt to be proud of and show off with pride whenever you can. Great work!

What is not to like about your quilt? I think both sides are interesting and I also think the use of white gives a softening look to your quilt. I hope you won't take too long a break from sewing and quilting. Keep going on this one; it is just about finished.

Great modern look.

It's really nice.

I love that! Your choice of colors and the overall design gives this quilt a very modern feel.
It looks like you're using a quilt as you go technique that doesn't have visible joins, which I like better than the way I know to do it. Could you describe your technique? Rob |

Rob https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOTV-YSF-48 Someone said they didn't like the thick seams this created, but I always topstitch on those long seams anyway just to make sure it is secure. I am happy with being able to quilt using this technique, but it is still a long process. |

You are right in that the white fabric really helps make this quilt stand out. Both sides are wonderful (even though you did not have a pattern) and look very modern which seems to be very "in" now. I like it a lot! What a great job you did on it. I hope you will use it or gift it because it would be a shame to have it sit in a closet. Oh and I love the colors and fabrics you used. Were they all from your stash?

I like the collection of fabrics you have in your quilt...keep up the good work...it always feels good to have one completed.

I am going to try a QAYG one day soon. I hope mine turns out well also.
