Still Working On This - What's Under My Needle
2 Attachment(s)
I have been working on this for months, off and on. I don't seem to want to put in the time but it is nearing the finish. I will add borders (of sorts) on the remaining sides, and quilt. This is quilt as you go, so that is a good thing. Really no pattern, just putting together fabrics. No where near as beautiful as the other photos I see here but I am ok with that too.
It is reversible so will be post both sides. Ok, it is a queen size or close to it (right now it is about 88 inches square, not quite but close). I am not even thinking about adding a lot to it. I hope the white balances all that mess a little. I don't to get a headache looking at it. Just showing that I do actually sew sometimes...not just use my air fryer!! LOL. I may end up taking a break from quilting/sewing after this one. I think I am ready for a change of pace. |
OH I like that. both sides. great idea!

I usually get a comment like that's interesting. So thank you for that.

I like it a lot. I like the randomness of it.

I really like that!! Very modern looking. Great project.

You are right in that the white fabric really helps make this quilt stand out. Both sides are wonderful (even though you did not have a pattern) and look very modern which seems to be very "in" now. I like it a lot! What a great job you did on it. I hope you will use it or gift it because it would be a shame to have it sit in a closet. Oh and I love the colors and fabrics you used. Were they all from your stash?

I think it looks great. Your quilt reminds me of the Gees Bend quilts. I enjoy improv quilting. There's no pressure about what goes where and in the end you have a unique and beautiful quilt.

Very restful and soft in color!

I like that! I'm liking the modern quilts more and more and that definitely has a modern "feel" to it.
