beloved quilt
 

Ok guys here is the pic u ask for. Now remember it went through several years of college, and several moves lol. But it has been well loved and used. It is why I make quilts. not to be put away in the closet for future generations, but to be loved and used and appreciated. Also, was my first quilt and i did not know there was a difference in material. All of the material used in this one came from Walmart, and I think there is a huge difference in the quality of material.

How well do you work with everyone looking over your shoulder? lol!!

lol well my son's cat, Izzy sits on my cutting table and inspects each piece lol guess I am used to it.

oh my gosh...I said, "Is that MY ninnie?"...sure nuff!

ok, see that you have gotten started. That was quite a brave pattern to do for your
first and you did great.
What a compliment that your SON wants another quilt! Most grown men have no
interest. Guess he knows a good thing...like mom....I'll keep coming back. later gator :)

I'd love to have a Storm at Sea myself, and love batiks, so I'm hoping to follow along with you on your adventure. Thanks for sharing your progress.

I know that there are so many posts and only so much time, so actually I maybe before and then "finished". But I'm sure there are plenty who would like to follow along.

What a beautiful choice of fabrics. I will really enjoy seeing your progress because i have always wanted to make a storm at sea quilt.

Here is the last of the Batiks cut, 104T25s and 104T25r lol . And now we can cut the lights :):):) Moving along at a good pace i think. Also a pic of all the dark Batiks together
