Storm at Sea Wedding gift
1 Attachment(s)
I post this before and was not done but it is all done now. I but a small white border and red piping on it. It is a Storm at Sea, when I googled it this pattern was there. It is paper pieced and oh my gosh so easy. just get the coloring graft from on line color in your pattern. This one only had 3 different blocks. I pieced it over a couple days on and off but sewed the top on a sun afternoon.
It was fun and easy. It still amazes me I did it. Thank you for looking. |

is there a website for the coloring graft or did you draw it out yourself? I have been wanting to make one of these for my son..Here is the one I want to do. I think if I could color it out it would help a lot..

I love it. I love that pattern anyway, and have a small table mat made with that pattern using hot pink for the hearts. I put the hearts with the points touching. One up, one upsidedown. I love mine. And I love yours too.
|
I can feel the love in your quilt.
|
Storm at Sea is my favorite! I made one for my son using the paper piecing method, and you are right! It was very easy to piece.
|
Very pretty you did a nice job!!!!

My brother is remarrying a lovely woman after 10 years of being a widower - he's a retired admiral in the US Navy and I thought of the Storm-At-Sea pattern for a small wall hanging to make as a wedding gift. While I've seen the version with a single heart, I absolutely love your version with two hearts. PERFECT! Thanks so much for the inspiration.
