Wonderful job on a string quilt! I just started a string quilt for the first time and am sashing 4 of the small blocks with a 1 1/4 (3/4 finished) black sashing and then will see how wide i want the black sashing around the 4 patch blocks. I am saving your idea for a possible second string quilt....I love yours!

Love your take on this quilt!! I always have lots of shorter strings after making 8-10 inch string blocks. BTW, I spied St. Louis Cardinal fabric in it!! Thank you for sharing with us!
