String Lap Quilt
 

My latest string lap quilt for my local Hospice.
It is about 40 x 50" good size for our wheelchair patients.
I started each square with a 1-1/2" black strip.
Used 12" deli paper

Yes, it is ALL made from scraps from other projects, only new fabric was for border and binding.

very nice.. I like the idea of starting off with a black strip. Really defines it. I love making these blocks. I hope to make some for the nursing home patients. I did send some cozy shoulder shawls to the nh. Haven't heard back whether they liked them or not yet.
