    String Lap Quilt

My latest string lap quilt for my local Hospice.
It is about 40 x 50" good size for our wheelchair patients.
I started each square with a 1-1/2" black strip.
    Used 12" deli paper

It is really a beauty! I love the colors you chose. Is it mostly made from scraps of other projects?

Yes, it is ALL made from scraps from other projects, only new fabric was for border and binding.

I too like the colors of the fabrics a lot. You did a very nice job. I think I would want to keep it for myself. :-)

I'm a big scrappy string quilt maker and I have to say yours is a great one, using the same size strips gives it a special look and your color choices are wonderful. Keep up the great work, May in Jersey

I usually am not a fan of string quilts - I just changed my mind. Those colors are fantastic!
