They make it so hard to sew on those pieces. I sew the first seam just past the half way mark of the middle square or even farther. Just be sure to stop at least 2 inches from the end of the middle square. Then "back up" to the spot where you can sew on the next piece all the way across. Back up again and sew on piece three. Back up one more time to sew on the fourth piece. That first piece will be in your way now, so fold it down and out of the way. Pin it there for a while if you wish. When the fourth piece is sewn on, then go back and finish sewing the first seam. So simple. Partial seams are fun if you know how to make it simple.

Definitely one to make. Goes to the top of my list. My list just keeps getting longer and longer with all the blocks I want to do. Very nice.
