I think it is a wonderful room :D:D:D I love the knotty pine, you have so much room, Lucky You :D:D:D
|
I think the knotty pine is restful, and I, too, am in the basement, cool in the summer and out of the way of the general traffic.
|
Gosh just look at that room. And to think you don't have to put anything away when you finish for the day, just pick up where you left off. I would love to have a full basement for my sewing. I now use the dinning room table for sewing and go to our Church for cutting using the long tables there. Lucky you. I like the knotty pine, however I like wood panneling.

Looks like heaven to me  All that space ... room to move and expand

Love your room! Mine is so small I cannot capture it in one photo. I must say, the TV is far enough away so to not distract. Clever ...

Michael,
I love your space. I wish I could spread out like that to sew and quilt. You did a good job on re-purposing the items from the house. Nice! Have fun with your new room. |
Wow . . . I would do a happy dance for that knotty pine.j It is absolutely beautiful. The rest of the room is pretty nice too.
|
I can relate. I use to have a 30 x 15 room in a bas't, moved and now I'm in a 12x12 rm :hunf: :hunf: :hunf: you are very lucky
|
I also love that fact that you have repurposed many of your larger pieces. I use a bedroom for my quilt studio....two of my kids' computer tables for sewing surfaces and an old farmhouse metal table on wooden blocks for a cutting surface....nothing fancy but I love it and as you say...you leave your stuff out and ready to sew at a moment's notice...it's heaven.

Looks like you have a great space to work in. I only have a portion of the "Family room" which holds the computers, treadmill, couch and several other items. But, I like being where other are, I don't like to be isolated.
