The backing is a very light weight black courdory that already had red embroidered roses on it. That was such a great "find" when I went to the fabric store!! |
Very pretty. I never thought to do a floral log cabin. I'll put that on my list :).

nhansen-I love a red-white & blue quilt. Yours is so snappy. The dot fabric seems to give it movement along with the white of the log cabin squares.
