I guess my favorite of all time is the Crazy Quilt that I made about six years ago. Probably because I chose all the fabrics and the embroidery designs and did some of the decorative stitches myself. I took me about two months to make it.
The backing is a very light weight black courdory that already had red embroidered roses on it. That was such a great "find" when I went to the fabric store!! |
Very pretty. I never thought to do a floral log cabin. I'll put that on my list :).

To all who responded about my quilt, Sylvia & Louise, thank you so much for the kind words. Some time has passed and I'm at the point where I think of my mom and only smile. I miss her daily, but time has given me perspective.
Thanks again! |

UBE- You have done a nice job on your quilt. I jotted down the quilt name to do a search. You say it is not difficult?
It has a really pleasing look to it. Congratulations and thanks for posting. |
Very nice Neanie. The colors make it look so crisp and bright and cheerful. Good job and thanks for posting.

nhansen-I love a red-white & blue quilt. Yours is so snappy. The dot fabric seems to give it movement along with the white of the log cabin squares.

Really nice quilt.
