That is unique! I've never thought about doing that. But, it is sure pretty and a conversation piece for sure.

Love it. Saw the promo for this class - and now wished I had taken it.

You always still could. Craftsy.com does kind of a rolling open enrollment. It isn't like quilt university where it has a set time frame.

I plan to make three more, and hang all four together- but first, I have to make my Mom a twin size quilt for her guest room.

Thanks for sharing. I have just signed up for my first course with Crafty. It is not this one but you learned a great deal with your course; your art quilt came out great.

This is my second craftsy class. I also did Pictorial Quilting with Wendy Butler Berns- that was a cool class too. Which class are you taking?

Did you use stablizer on the back or just starch? Your piece is lovely! Although I don't have many fancy stitches on my machine....I will give this a try...just have to use more hand work and embellishments.

The instructor has you use fusible interfacing. The machine will eat the fabric with such heavy decorative stitches without some stabilizer, but because of the hand embroidery, the stabilizer can't be too thick.

Very nice! I've been wondering about the Craftsy classes - seeing this I'd say they are worth the money.

Way Cool! I like what you have done. I like the look of the decorative stitching mixed in with the quilting. Nicely done!

Very interesting . . . and I can see all the thought and planning you put into it. I had to come back to it a 2nd time because it really catches my eye. Nice work.
