Bought the 3" styro balls at Michael's with coupons and the MANY pins needed at Michael's or JoAnns with 40% off coupons or notions' sales. Be sure to use a thimble.

I love these. I made several for this past Christmas. I plan on making more for next Christmas. They are so much fun and easy to make.

i tried these but they were often off center is there an easy way to find the middle of the ball to get started.
