This was a class project for beginners, the first top I've completed. Please don't blame me for the fabric, the instructor selected it. It's from the Quilter's Academy series, which I really like. i'm not really liking it, but I want to finish it up, and donate it to a nursing home for a lap quilt. I think I may do that for a while as I practice techniques. So, how shall I quilt this??

I think you did a super job. My first quilt wasn't nearly that complex. If you're planning to try FMQ, just do a meander for the first try.

First top, free motion is a lot to tackle, use painters blue tape to keep lines srtaight and machine quilt,,not through tape but along side of edge. Miss the black and blue patches..just to stop yellow from bagging. Use the longest machine stitch. Otherwise, stitch in ditch in blue and black blocks. :0)

if your skill level allows, i'd say to do something swirly or curly since there are so many straight lines
you did a great job

I agree something swirly would look really nice. You did a GREAT job.

Love how this turned out. An all over menander would be how I would quilt it.
Great job.
